The International Judo Federation (IJF) International Judo Training Camp was held at Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences). Mr. Ma Wenguang, Executive Chairman of the GAAPSF, Mr. CHE Kuong Hon, Executive Vice-President of the GAAPSF, Executive Director and Head Sports Director of the Asian Judo Union, and IJF Sports Commissioner, Vice President of the International Judo Academy, , the director of the China Overseas Friendship Association and the deputy secretary general of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Olympic Committee, attended the meeting.

​          Mr. Yang Feng, member of the Standing Committee of the Jinan Municipal Committee, Director of the Propaganda Department, Secretary of the Education Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, deputy secretary of the Changqing District Party Committee, Mr. Zhao Juan, deputy director of the Jinan Municipal Education Bureau, Liu Yan, deputy director of the Jinan Municipal Sports Bureau, and Mr. Qu Jingpeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Changqing District and other urban leaders, Mr. Wang Yinglong, Party Secretary of Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) , Prof. Chen Jiachuan, dean of the University, and Mr. Ma Wencai, deputy dean attended the ceremony.

       Mr. Yang Feng expressed his gratitude to the international judo training Camp in Jinan. He pointed out that Jinan is building a modern international metropolis with “Daqiangmeifutong”. The next step will be to provide better conditions and facilities to attract more international high-level training and competitions. The event settled in Jinan to create conditions, and Jinan will be displayed to the world through this special business card.

        Mr. Florin Daniel introduced the development of the International Judo Academy in recent years. He thanked Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) and the Jinan Municipal Committee and Municipal Government for their concern and support for the international judo project. He hoped that the national judo camps would be settled in Jinan. As an opportunity, the parties will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in various fields and make greater contributions to the Chinese sports industry.

       Mr.Ma Wenguang announced the establishment of the General Association of Asia-Pacific Sports Federations (GAAPSF) and the World Sports University think tank, and signed a merger agreement between the World Sports University and the International Judo Academy with Mr. Florin Daniel.

        Participants visited the International Judo Training Center located in the Sport and Art Center of Qilu University of Technology and visited the athletes and coaches.

       It is reported that the World Judo Grand Prix in 2019 has ended on May 26 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. According to international practice, participating athletes generally participate in intensive training after the game to maintain and improve the level of competition. According to the cooperation agreement between Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) and the GAAPSFA, the training program was held at Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) Changqing Campus Art Center. The training camp  was conducted by Mr. Ilias Ilyadis,  international judo gold medal coach, Judo world champion and Olympic gold medalist, and by Ms. Yang Xiuli, Olympic Gold Medalist. Nearly 30 participants attended the ca from Germany, Greece, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong and other countries and regions. The participating teams will conduct ten days of training and preparations, and strive to achieve excellent results in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
